Children's Chapel

The Cathedral's Children's Chapel, designed for children ages 5 to 9, gathers at 10 am each Sunday morning, just before the start of the 10:15 am service. The children then return to church during the offertory in time to join their parents for the Eucharistic Prayer and receiving communion.

Throughout the church year, our Children's Chapel takes our kids through the epic Biblical story, from Genesis to Exodus to Joshua, Samuel, Kings, Jeremiah and Isaiah all the way to the Gospels and finally the Acts of the Apostles and the Letters of Paul.

As the children delve into of the Bible, through tactile and kinetic exercises, we ask them to think about, to comment upon, and then--through our Kids-Lead Services and Pageants--to re-tell all those timeless scriptural stories.
