A Tradition of Musical Excellence

The Cathedral Church of St. Peter has a long history of providing inspiring music in worship and concert settings, in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg.

For the 2012-2013 year, we will offer Choral Evensong on the fourth Sunday of the month at 5:00 pm, October through April, as a supplement to our weekly Sunday 10:15 am Sung Eucharists.

Choral Evensongs are sung by the Cathedral Chamber Choir, a semi-professional ensemble of 16 singers. Our weekly Sunday, 10:15 am Holy Eucharist is a sung service with organ, and the fifty voice Cathedral and Treble Choirs.

The Cathedral offers Festal Services throughout the liturgical year--All Saints' Sunday, Christmas Eve, The Confession of St. Peter, and Easter Sunday. On these celebrations, the organ and Cathedral Choir will be joined by our five-piece Cathedral Brass ensemble, making those festival days on the church calendar even more joyous.

In addition, the Cathedral Arts series will offer special concerts for the 2012-2013 season. Please check back later in the summer for details on the 2012-2013 season.
