Dec. 13:  Messiah (Part I) The St. Petersburg Festival Chorus and guest soloists are accompanied by a 20-piece chamber orchestra for Handel’s best-known oratorio. See the video.

Dec. 20:  Advent Lessons & Carols at 10:15 a.m. service. This service of carols, hymns and Scripture readings is followed by a celebration of Holy Eucharist.

Jan. 31:  Choral Evensong, 5:00 p.m.  The Chamber Choir will sing the music of Charles Stanford, John Sanders and Bruce Neswick.  Guest and assistant organist, Robert Todd.

Feb. 28:  Choral Evensong, 5:00 p.m. The Chamber Choir, under the direction of Dwight Thomas will sing the music of Bruhns, Smith, Tallis and Byrd.  Mr. Thomas will preceed the liturgy with a 10-minute organ prelude.  A free-will offering will be received.  The congregation is invited to a reception, following the service.

March 14:  Duruflé Requiem, 5:00 p.m.  This is the premier performance, in the city of St. Petersburg, of this version of Duruflé's choral masterwork with chamber orchestra.  Performed by the St. Petersburg Festival Chorus and Orchestra.  Soloists are Cyndy Orozco, mezzo soprano and Joel Mercer, bass.  St. Peter's Cathedral Director of Music Ministries, Dwight Thomas, will conduct the performance.  A free-will offering will be received and guests are invited to a reception following the performance.

March 28:  Solemn Choral Evensong for Passion Sunday, 5:00 p.m.  Sung by St. Peter's Chamber Choir.  Dwight Thomas, organist and director.  The Rt. Rev. Dabney T. Smith, Bishop of the Diocese of Southwest Florida is the Officiant.  A 10-minute organ prelude will preceed the liturgy.  Music for the service includes Dupré, Purcell and Rorem.  A free-will offering will be received and the congregation is invited to a reception, following the service.

April 25:  Choral Evensong, 5:00 p.m.  The St. Peter's Chamber Choir will lead the congregation in worship with the music of Widor, Ayleward, Mathais and Handel.  Director and Organist, Dwight Thomas will play a 10-minute organ prelude, prior to the litury.  A free-will offering will be received.  The congregation is invited to a reception following the service.

May 30:  Choral Evensong, 5:00 p.m.
